In case you run out of ideas to while your weekend away, here are some things you can do, eat, buy, try or watch.

WATCH: Daredevil
The highly-anticipated TV series, Marvel’s Daredevil is now available on Netflix. The story follows Matthew Maddox (played by Charlie Cox) – blind lawyer by day, masked vigilante by night. He stumbles upon a series of murders and kidnappings that seem to link up to a bigger, more sinister plan to transform the city of New York. A word of advice for the squeamish though, there are several scenes that are rather violent and graphic. The entire series has been released at one go on Netflix, so you can indulge in some binge-watching over the weekend.
EAT: Skinny Salads
Lunchtime during the work week is usually chocked full of unhealthy and greasy hawker food for me – that’s why I like eating healthy during the weekends to take some guilt off the weekdays. Get healthy salads and wraps with an Asian twist at Skinny Salad (think of it as the healthier sister of Skinny Pizza) – instead of the usual citrus dressing or sesame dressing, Skinny Salads offer specialty Asian salads like Green Papaya and Snake Beans ($9) with Nahm Jin dressing (a type of Thai dipping sauce), Cabbage with Nouc Cham dressing ($9) and Soba & Watercress ($11.50). Now will someone just open a salad bar in the heartlands?
Skinny Salads is located at 100AM Shopping Mall, #01-03. 100 Tras Street, Singapore 079027
WEAR: Little Black Dresses
I’ve often been asked if I ever get bored of wearing all-black, but in all honesty, black is just as interesting as a wardrobe full of colour. Once you remove colours from the picture, it allows you to concentrate more on the style, shoes or accessories of the outfit. I love the ZARA Boho dress ($59.90) and the Peter Pan Collar Jumpsuit ($109) for their distinctive style – perfect for every girl’s wardrobe.

DO: Primp from head-to-toe
After a long week of hard work and long hours, I’m looking forward to indulging in a DIY spa session with The Body Shop’s Fuji Green Tea range (From $8.90 onwards, www.thebodyshop.com.sg), to fully bid adieu to the tiring week.
WATCH: All 6 Star Wars movies
Even though the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie isn’t released till 17 December, I’m gonna prep early for it by going on a Star Wars movie marathon. In case you 00s’ kids aren’t familiar with the Star Wars franchise, there are 6 movies, and you definitely have to watch them all.

We’re doing some pretty interesting DIYs in our upcoming June issue, so I’m going to hunt for all the materials needed. So if you’re going to be in the Chinatown/Arab Street area this weekend, see you if I see you!

WATCH: The Con Artists
Bromance is one of my greatest guilty pleasures – Lee Jong Suk/Kim Woo Bin in School 2013 and Kim Soo Hyun/Lee Hyun Woo in Secretly, Greatly anyone? – so it pleases my fangirl heart to know that the second leads paired up for this heist flick. Watching Woo Bin as a snarky master thief and Hyun Woo as a genius hacker should be a pretty amazing feat to witness!
EAT: Banana Tree SG

This Korean dessert spot popped up just weeks ago, but it has already lured in an endless stream of cafe-hopping fiends. Come for the ridiculously photogenic Flower Paap ($6.50) and Pot Bingsu ($12.50), stay for the cosy ambience and sweet service.
