GO TO: Lomo Art Market

Calling all art lovers! This is one flea market you wouldn’t want to miss. Lomography Singapore’s first art market features illustrators like Sarah Thursday, mini terrariums by Moss in Garden and music by Canopus Distro. I’m heading down for the Wes Anderson illustrations by Satsuma Orange and did I mention that she’ll be doing live portraits for $10?

Lomography Singapore is located at 295 South Bridge Road, Singapore 058838

EAT: The Rosti Farm

When we mention rosti, most of you will think of Marché right? If you’re a huge fan of rostis, forget about Marché and give The Rosti Farm a try! Serving rosti as their main dish, you can definitely expect the restaurant to serve a quality plate of glorious grated potatoes. The place is cosy as they are still in their soft launch phase, so be prepared to wait during peak hours!

The Rosti Farm is located at Capitol Piazza 13 Stamford Road #02-31, Singapore 178905

DO: Cellilux Mask

The annual haze is back and I’m sure it’s getting to you as much as it’s annoying all of us at Teenage HQ. With all the dust and particles in the air, be sure to exfoliate your skin on a regular basis to remove those dirt. As for me, I always turn to my trusty Cellilux mask! Made from glacial clay found in British Columbia Canada, the mask detoxifies, exfoliates and hydrates my skin all at the same time! Leaving my skin smooth like a baby’s butt after washing it off.

ATTEND: 2015 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix (18-20 Sept)

Kicking off on Friday evening, the threat of hazy weather hasn’t dampened the excitement for the annual Singapore Grand Prix. Of course, the main attractions would be the auto-races, but there’s tons of entertainment lined up, from local favourites The Sam Willows, to massive acts like Maroon 5, Pharrell and Bon Jovi! Check out our Instagram @TeenageMagazine for #LiveUpdates throughout the weekend.

DIY: Dry Marble Manicure

I’m officially in love with dry marble manicures! This weekend, I’m attempting another dry mani after last week’s centralised swirl design. This time, quickly dot a few colours of your choice onto your nail, before simply dipping a thin brush/dotting tool/toothpick into each blob and connecting ’em together. Pretty easy (as usual)!

WATCH: Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials

Things are really heating up with The Scorch Trials (lol) – I mean, just look at the epicness of this trailer! After escaping from their maze-like prison from the first Maze Runner film, Thomas and gang are once again running for their lives in the parched, desolate wasteland – this time, from an army of the walking dead hell-bent on hunting them down. So you can definitely expect lotsa adrenaline-pumping action, plus a brand new face (hi Rosa Salazar!).

SIP: MarRx Coffee Apothecary

Fancy a shot of cold brew, literally? Or a piccolo latte served in a chocolate-coated waffle cup? Upping the ante for artistic presentations, this hole-in-the-wall coffee joint located at Duxton Hill wins oodles of points for the novelty factor. Highly recommended is the signature Cold Brew, which comes in five syringes and contained within a glass beaker – bet you’ll get plenty of hearts on Instagram with this shot (no pun intended). Psst… their to-go cups are equally cool too!

MarRx Coffee Apothecary is located at 1A Duxton Hill, Singapore 089587.
