GO TO: Coney Island Park
Need to get away from city life? Head on down to recently-opened Coney Island Park and get in touch with nature. The park is connected by two bridges from Punggol and Pasir Ris, so take a ride down with your bicycle and explore the island. Psst.. you might even bump into the single Brahman bull that roams freely across the island.

Click here for more info on A9’s tour this weekend! Tickets from $79 onwards.
SHOP: Public Garden Consumer Trade Show
A definite contender in our ‘best flea markets in Singapore’ list, Public Garden’s latest and largest instalment will see tons of local and overseas brands carrying products that’ll excite your little hipster hearts. Expect handmade crafts and wares like one-of-a-kind leather wallets, yearly planners, handphone covers, combs, etc., from talented designers and brands from all over the region.
Check out Public Garden’s Facebook page for more info.
COOK: Bacon-Wrapped Mozzarella Sticks
Bacon and cheese. What more do I have to say? I love easy recipes that’ll give me the yummiest food with the least amount of effort possible and this totally fits the bill. This sinful ‘meal’ guarantees more calories than anyone should ever consume, so get ready to exercise your butt off – after you’ve indulged to your heart’s content, of course.

WATCH: Sassy, Go Go
As you all might have already known from the countless K-dramas I’ve recommended, school-centric plots are my ultimate guilty pleasure, and this should be right up your alley if you share the same liking as me. Sassy, Go Go (also known as Cheer Up!) is set in a vicious academic environment where students are split into two groups: Baek Ho, an elite club of the intellectually gifted, and Real King, an outcast street dance club. Both clubs are forced to merge into a cheerleading squad and from there, begins the budding romance of the respective leaders, Kim Yeol of Baek Ho (Lee Won Geun) and Kang Yeon Doo of Real King (Apink’s Eunji). New OTP alert!
READ: Eleanor & Park
It’s safe to say that Rainbow Rowell might just be my spirit animal – Fangirl pretty much resonates to me on a cellular level. But today, I’d like to dedicate this space to her debut novel Eleanor & Park, the 2013 cult favourite that made every avid reader of hers fall in love with the YA universe Rowell so carefully created. It tells the story of two star-crossed 16-year-olds falling in love with each other, and giving their all for their relationship even if they know ‘first loves’ never last. I’ve heard great things about this and I’m definitely looking forward to reading it this weekend!
DRINK: Tuk Tuk Cha
I first visited this little kiosk last week when I was at Suntec City Tower 3, but they ran out of their signature Thai Milk Tea by the time I reached the counter. Which calls for a second attempt this weekend! Opened by the same folks behind the famous Bedok Point Thai Boat Noodle, Tuk Tuk Cha does a brisk trade in their symbolic cha yen, Shibuya toasts and other authentic Thai offerings. It’s eclectically furnished with pretty blooms and branded by a retro tuk tuk at the entrance, which would certainly make for a gorgeous Instagram shot!
