SHOP: Underground Market No.8
The eco-friendly fashion flea market is back! Shop wardrobes of personalities like Nicole Wong, Linda Hao, Trishna G and so many more this Saturday. You can snag pieces from brands like Zara, Monki, ASOS and H&M for mad low prices, and we heard that there will be Kenzo and Mulberry shoes going for as low as $100! Come lepak at the lawn with a bottle of the best coconut shake in town (tried and tested) after an afternoon of shopping. Perfect place to be if you just want to shop and chill your Saturday away.
Underground Market No.8 will be held at 33A Chiltern Drive, Singapore 359764
GO TO: Keong Saik Carnival
This all-day street carnival will showcase the best of yesteryears from legendary local ’60s band to experimental collaborations of traditional Chinese musicians with cutting-edge electronic DJs. Accompanying the carnival is a street bazaar filled with quirky peddlers ranging from clothing to homeware, cult magazines to vinyl records, pop-up cocktail bars and more. I’m definitely looking forward to the bazaar where I can feast on burgers from Three Buns and shop while I eat.

ATTEND: DBS Marina Regatta
One thing I want to do when I’m at the DBS Marina Regatta is to slide down Southeast Asia’s tallest-ever inflatable slide! It is 16m high and you can reach up to 51km/hr down the slide! How exhilarating! The entry fee of $10 entitles each person 5 rides and all proceeds raised will go towards charity. Other than that, catch your favourite local acts like Stopgap, Inch Chua, Linying and more live at the sound house as well!

Starlights! Have y’all gotten your tickets to VIXX’s concert this Sunday? Fun fact: VIXX held a show in Singapore on the exact same date last year, 29 May 2015. Fast forward a year later, the septet will be making their way to our shores again. EAT: Pokemon Cafe
Another week, another character-themed cafe popping up. But this one calls for extra fanfare, because it’s the first time ever that we’re seeing a Pokemon cafe outside of Japan, on our little red dot! From 27 May to 31 July, aspiring Pokemon masters can head down to Bugis Junction to revel in Pikachu-filled goodness – from an adorable themed menu, to the decor decked out in Pokemon imagery, right down to the exclusive merchandise. Psst, order the Pikachu Smiling Rice Omelette or Pikachu Sweeeeet Pancake, and you can take home your very own Pokeball mug!
The Pokemon Pop-up Cafe is happening from 27 May to 31 July, at Bugis Junction 4th floor. Visit their Facebook page for more details.
