EAT: Pong Gelato
It has been more than 2 years since I went to Chatuchak market to have the famed coconut ice cream. But I wouldn’t have to fly all the way to Bangkok just to have my craving fixed anymore! Pong Gelato serves up the Coconut Gelato with Sorbet in a Husk ($5.50) which would come with 3 toppings of your choice and a complimentary cup of coconut juice. Plus good news to all youths aged 15 to 35! Get 10% off any item (1 redemption per day) for the month of July! You just need to flash the coupon above when you make your purchase. Head on down to NYC’s Facebook page for more Youth Month Promotions!

WATCH: Alice Through The Looking Glass
The film tells the story about Alice coming across a magical looking glass that takes her back to Underland and finds that the Mad Hatter is acting madder than usual and wants to discover the truth about his family. Alice then travels through time (with the “Chronosphere”) and comes across friends and enemies at different points of their lives and embarks on a race to save the Hatter before time runs out. Sounds exciting already and I personally can’t wait to catch this movie even though there have been bad press about Johnny Depp. Check out the other Alice adaptions you should watch here!
DO: Baking
I’m a bit rusty now when it comes to baking, can’t remember when was the last time I really set aside some alone time to do some therapeutic baking. Plus it has been quite a week for me so I’m gona be in the kitchen busy whipping up some yummy moist cookies over the weekend! I came across some really helpful baking charts and have compiled it here for all you baking enthusiasts out there!

EAT: McDonald’s Marine Cove
My completely unfiltered reaction upon seeing the new fast food joint’s interior: “Wow, is this even McDonald’s?” Whatever magic they’d casted at East Coast Park, they’re definitely doing it right. Enter the McDonald’s Marine Cove, the only outlet in Singapore with a customisable salad bar, dessert bar. And this means a mouth-watering array of premium burgers, luxe sandwiches, gourmet Belgian waffles, and local-inspired pastries to indulge in! The icing on top of the cake? Wireless charging ports to juice up your dying devices while you enjoy your meal.
McDonald’s Marine Cove is located at 1000 East Coast Parkway, East Coast Park #01-05, Singapore 449876.
WATCH: Doctors
Many were speculating whether Doctors will be the next Descendants of the Sun – and based on the high TV ratings and public reactions so far, things are certainly looking up for this K-drama! This new series stars Park Shin Hye as a wayward student with childhood scars hidden under a tough-as-nails personality, and Kim Rae Won as a mentor who transforms her life from a hopeless delinquent to a compassionate doctor 13 years later. I’m especially looking forward to watching it since Park Shin Hye is often typecast as the damsel in distress, but boy, does she look super badass and girl crush-worthy here. You go girl!
ATTEND: Nathan Hartono
It’s no secret that Nathan Hartono has had a long history with Teenage, and to think that it has already been a decade since winning our Teenage Icon competition back in 2005! Fast-forward to now, the talented 25-year-old is celebrating his 10th year in music with his biggest solo concert on 9 July at the prestigious Esplanade Concert Hall. And judging from his Instagram spoiler, it seems like apart from being serenaded by sweeping tunes, fans can also look forward to a killer drum solo that night!
Tickets are still available via SISTIC from $38, don’t miss it!
