Heads up fitness aficionados! There have been a bevy of runs recently, but the YOLO run is shaping up to be pretty interesting – with a tagline of “You Only Live Once: Free Yourselves And Run Shirtless For A Good Cause’, who wouldn’t be intrigued?

For the first time ever, participants are encouraged to go shirtless (ladies will wear a YOLO Run sports bra) and sweat it out at Gardens By The Bay, to “liberate themselves from their inner insecurities”. Held on 22 November, the 5 kilometre run is only half of the event’s happenings – a mass yoga session will be held after, to help runners get in touch with their mind, body and soul.

And we’ve heard that this race aims to break into the Singapore Book of Records for the most number of shirtless runners, so watch out for the YOLO Zones that’ll hype you up even more! Plus, one T-shirt will be donated to underprivileged kids in developing countries for every shirtless runner, so that’s even more incentive to go without! #YOLO
